The main ingredients of general wet wipes are:

① Water - purified water, pure water, and RO pure water. The medicinal solution content in wet wipes is generally around 80%. If the content is too low, the wet wipes will feel too dry; conversely, if the content is too high, they will feel too wet and inconvenient to use. More than 90% of the medicinal solution is water. To prevent water from reacting with the medication, the water used in wet wipes must be specially treated. You can see the words "refined water," "pure water," or "RO purified water" on the packaging ingredients list.

② Humectant-Propylene glycol. Propylene glycol is both a solvent and a humectant. It helps the active ingredients in the medication dissolve in water, prevents water from evaporating easily, and has antibacterial and preservative properties. Therefore, almost all wet wipes contain humectants.

③ Preservatives-Phenoxyethanol, methylparaben, and parabens. Wet wipes contain a large amount of water and various substances. To maintain the activity of the active ingredients, preservatives must be added. However, the amount of preservatives is usually very low and will not have negative effects.

④ Antibacterial agents-sodium lactate, eucalyptus leaves. There are many types of antibacterial agents, including both chemically synthesized and natural ones. As the name suggests, antibacterial agents can kill bacteria and inhibit their reproduction.

⑤ Nonionic surfactants-polyoxyethylene hydrogenated castor oil and polyethers. Laundry detergent and most detergents contain nonionic surfactants, which are used to remove dirt and grease to achieve a cleaning effect. In addition, there are other natural ingredients, such as eucalyptus leaf extract, the natural bactericide chamomile oil with soothing and anti-inflammatory effects, aloe vera extract with moisturizing effects, and bactericidal alcohol, etc.
